Public Gardens
The island of Gozo is pretty small and space is very limited. However, you will find a lot of space and public gardens between the villages and also in small urban places.
As Gozo enjoys excellent weather all year round, you should definitely consider spending quite some time outdoors. On a daily basis I go to meet friends, have a chat, or jogging. There are various public garden in each villages. These gardens vary in size and purpose. Some of these gardens are so small that you will not even notice them while driving in front of them.Â
Following are the seven main public gardens on the island. The Mediterranean climate may not be the best to make an afforestation due to the lack of rain. However, the local people do their best to keep their home place green.Â
