Natural Attractions

a scenic view of Gozo island

The island of Gozo is home to many natural attractions. Despite its petite size, it never fails to amaze those who have an eye for detail.

Natural attractions are scattered around the island. Some of which are carved by the effect of weather erosion on the rock. Such examples are the Mushroom rock, and the famous window of Wied il-Mielah

Other attractions were produced millions of years ago by geological movements of the earth. Typical examples are the hillocks near Marsalforn village, and the caves found to the north.

Man made natural attractions would be the public gardens. You will find a public garden or two in each village. These vary in size and conditions. Every effort is welcomed so as to keep our island of Gozo green and environmentally sustainable.
