Zewwieqa
Zewwieqa is a small bay found at the mouth of Mgarr Harbour. To reach this lonely beach you have to walk along the marina to finally find a small sandy shore.Â
Sitting on the beach you will see numerous boats going in and out of the harbor, including the Gozo Channel ship on which you must travel to come to Gozo. Despite the marine traffic, the water at the beach is very clean and clear.Â
Usually, the bay is busier in the evening rather than in the morning. Because of the maritime traffic, it is suggested not to swim near the entrance of the port. It is common to see few fishermen trying their luck.Â
