Tuna has become a popular option in recent years. The tuna fish has lived in the Mediterranean for centuries and often breeds near the coast of the Maltese archipelago. 

In the past, catching a wild tuna was considered to be a huge achievement due to the size of the fish. Nowadays, tuna is also farmed near the southern coast of Comino. The tasty fish is delicious and enjoyed for lunch and dinner. 

Most often, the steak is pan fried or grilled. Sides will usually include mashed local potatoes and veggies. This is an option you can go for at most restaurants
