Qubbajt

qubbajt - maltese sweets

Qubbajt is a traditional sweet going back to the time of the Knights of Saint John. Also known as Maltese Nougat, the sweet is found in the summer during the village feast.

You will find the hard version of Qubbajt that looks like almond and nut brittle. The soft version will be in color, with almonds and hazelnut. The smaller version will be slimmer with no nuts. The latter is also referred to as the child version.

You ought to taste a qubbajt during your visit to a village feast,….its a tradition 🙂
