Qaqocc Mimli

I remember eating the stuffed artichokes at my grandmother’s house. As back then I was a child, for me it was like a game. As the artichoke leaves are hard, you do not literally eat them. You eat the filling and scrape the inner part of the leave against your teeth.
The filling is mainly tuna, with olives and herbs. You simply fill the artichoke and place it in a pot with potatoes. Quite easy but very tasty. Regrettably you will not find many restaurants offering this healthy dish. If you would like to try it, find an establishment offering traditional services.
