Diving around Gozo

Diving around Gozo has increased in popularity in recent years. This famous sports is well served on the island, with many professional diving centers fully equipped to cater for your needs.

Many visitors of Gozo dive during the summer months when the water is warm. However, scuba diving can be enjoyed all year round. The sea water around Gozo remains relatively warm even during the winter months. Gozo is famous for good weather all year long with record breaking days of sunshine. This allows you to dive in any month of the year.

As Gozo is a small island, there are dive sites all around. In the unlikely event that a persistent strong wind renders a site unfit for diving, your dive center will guide you to a better site on the opposite side of the island.

Gozo offers an array of different dive sites. Each site has its own particular feature. You will find shallow or deep sites. Cavern and chimney sites. Ship wrecks are on the south of Gozo. There are sites which are blossoming with marine life to watch. Whatever your diving skills, you will find plenty to explore. In fact many visitors plan a diving holiday on Gozo to visit different diving sites.
