Dahlet Qorrot

a beach covered with dry marine plants during the winter

Dahlet Qorrot is the most North Western cove found on the island. The recently paved road leads close to the bay where you can park your car right next to the shore.

You will notice colored boat houses in the area. Some of which were caves in the hill. These were used by the village fishermen to store their nets and shelter their boats on windy days. Although the number of active fishermen have diminished throughout the years, you may still encounter a few.

This beach is frequently visited by the residents of Nadur village. It provides a small sandy and pebble shore. On the right hand side a quayside allows boats to enter and exit the water with ease.
