Arjoli

Arjoli is a local traditional pate’ similar to the Bigilla. However, the Arjoli differs from the vegetarian friendly Bigilla, as it includes fish in the process. 

The nice red color of Arjoli comes from the local tomatoes. Tomatoes are a local produce which excel in hot summer months. To make Arjoli, the main ingredients are tomatoes and fish. Herbs and spices are added depending on your preferred taste. 

Just like Bigilla, Arjoli can be enjoyed throughout the day with bread or gallett. Do not be shy to ask to try it from your accommodation establishment or from a restaurant.
