Ghadam ta' Novembru

Ghadam ta’ Novembru means November Bones, and I have to admit that these sweets are one of my favorite!!! As the name indicates you will only find them during the month of November.

This sweet is made from a thick sweet dough with crushed almond filling. The ones you will find for sale in shops will be in a perfect bone shape. Trying to bake it at home might result in an non-perfect bone shape. However, no matter the shape, the taste will be delicious.

This particular sweet is covered with white icing. The crushed nuts on top are an optional. This is highly suggested to be tried during your Gozo trekking holiday in November.
