Hillocks

The hillocks of Gozo are found to the North of the island. Not far from each other, both hillocks are found in the coastal village of Marsalforn

Named for their distinctive color, the hillocks have a particular shape. The yellow hillock is found more inland. Composed mainly of green sand, it emits a strong yellow color. On the other hand, the white hillock is located along the coast and is made of fragile limestone.

A local myth narrates a story about the origin of the hillocks and their lives before becoming hillocks.
